Clear Lake is conveniently located in North Central Iowa along Interstate I35(running north/south) and US Highway 18/122 (running east/west). It is located just two hours north of Des Moines, Iowa, and two hours south of Minneapolis, Minnesota. In addition, with the Avenue of the Saints, it is an easy drive to Cedar Falls, Waterloo, and Cedar Rapids. Clear Lake is also one mile from the Mason City airport. Clear Lake has two major exits off of I35 with plenty of restaurants, hotels, gas and truck stops, this makes for a great weekend getaway, no matter how you arrive!
